(formerly Crossroads Mission Church)
Sugarcreek, Ohio, USA
A small group began meeting in the basement of Sam and Lela Schrock's home in 1986. As the group began to grow they moved to a local vacant office building the following year.
Later the church was officially established as Crossroads Mission Church and a building was purchased along a backroad west of Millersburg, Ohio marked by a small sign along State Route 39.
By 2012, approximately 250 were attending regularly and the church hit capacity in the building along Township Road 264. In June 2012, the church bought the former Sugarcreek Free Methodist Church building in the village of Sugarcreek, about 24 miles east, in Tuscarawas County. The move to the new location coincided with a name change: Oasis Tabernacle.
After a short remodeling phase the first service at the ‘new’ building was a Praise Service on October 10, 2012.
Wayne was ordained in a Mennonite church in 1984 and has ministered to the church of Oasis Tabernacle as Pastor for over 30 years.
